Established in 2009, The Beauty Spot aims to provide high standards of professionalism, hygiene, relaxation & privacy at competitive prices to each & every one of its clients. Located only a block from the main street of Hastings, with ample on road parking. The Beauty Spot has created a peaceful and inviting atmosphere, giving clients an opportunity to retreat from busy life to be looked after and pampered by the friendly and dedicated team of Therapists.
We offer a comprehensive range of services and treatments that are carried out with the highest levels of care and attention, ensuring your visit to be an enjoyable & memorable experience.
OUR TEAM
KATHLEEN
Completed her Diploma in Beauty and Body Therapy at EIT in 2004, and has also completed the International CIDESCO Diploma.
Having worked as a senior therapist in the beauty industry for over 12 years, Kathleen is highly experienced.
JO
Completed the Diploma in Beauty and Body Therapy at EIT in 2006 and has also completed the International CIDESCO Diploma.
Jo is originally from the UK and has worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years.
EMMA
Completed her Diploma in Beauty and Body Therapy at EIT and has also completed the International CIDESCO Diploma.
Emma is from Hawke's Bay an enjoys all aspects of Beauty Therapy.
HAYLEY
From Hawke's Bay, Hayley completed her Diploma in Beauty and Body Therapy at EIT in 2015.
Hayley enjoys all aspects of Beauty Therapy and is focused on helping her clients look and feel better about themselves through different Beauty treatments.
EMMA
Emma took over The Beauty Spot in 2016.
She enjoys working on Reception, working behind the scenes and supporting the team of therapists to ensure the Salon runs smoothly and effectively.

CANCELLATION POLICY
You are very important to us at The Beauty Spot and we reserve your appointment and therapist’s time especially for you! Please arrive on time!
Arriving on time or 5 minutes before your appointment ensures that you don't miss a single minute of your treatment. Whilst we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or alterations. When you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and consequently waste the time and expertise of our trained professional therapists.
Please see below for a general breakdown of cancellation fees:
- • Less than 24-hour notice cancellations/alterations may result in a charge equal to 50% of reserved appointment(s)
- • ‘NO SHOWS’ may be charged 100% of service amount
- • Repeat ‘NO SHOWS’ may be required to pay for any future treatments in advance
As a courtesy, we do contact you to confirm the date and time of your appointment. However, please understand that ultimately it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times.
